BSB Register Changes
A month-by-month record of changes to the Australian BSB (Bank-State-Branch) register — BSB numbers that were newly registered, amended, or discontinued. Each month links to the individual records, and the whole log is available as an Atom feed.
A discontinued BSB is not the same as a closed branch. BSBs are also retired through
mergers, renumbering, and consolidation. This log reflects what the register records, not branch
openings or closures — see the data story for the full methodology and caveats.
